In this
workshop students will build and take home three working models:
An air-powered hovercraft, a ping-pong ball launching catapult,
and a student designed air-powered boat. Have fun working with
real tools while learning
in a fun, hands-on atmosphere.
Through these take-home experiences, you will be exposed to the following science concepts: Newton's Laws of Motion, Aerodynamics, Power Transfer,Energy Conversion, Air Pressure, Torque, Weight Distribution, Gravity, Friction, Lift, Thrust, Measurement, Proportion, Balance, Speed, Acceleration, Electric Circuits, and Trajectory !!
in a fun, hands-on atmosphere.
