Diggin' for Dinosaurs, Rockin' Rocks,
and Crystal Creations
In this new course, young scientists will discover the exciting sciences of archeology and paleontology as they excavate and assemble complete skeletal replicas from "fossilized" rock. Dig for Tyrannosaurus Rex, iceratops, Stegosaurus, Velociraptors, and more! Make fossilized plaster replicas of dinosaur teeth, skulls, and claws. Learn about the ice-age through hands-on digging into the past. Discover the Saber-toothed cat, Woolly Mammouth, and Neanderthal Man. Learn about the evolution of dinosaurs and theories related to their extinction.

See our new and growing fossil and mineral collections. Plus.. Unearth some fascinating facts about rocks, minerals, and crystals as you learn to classify according to hardness, streak, fracture and a variety of other scientific tests.

Grow beautiful crystals on a sponge, in an egg shell, and in gels. Each participant will take home crystal creations, assembled skeletons, and unearthed treasures.
